Overview

If you worked in Italy as an employee, or are a pensioner, you may need to file a 730 return. It can bring a refund in your payslip or ask for a small payment.

Costs and deadlines

Doing it yourself is free. CAF fees vary by office (commonly EUR 20 to 60, TO VERIFY); ask first. The usual deadline is 30 September (TO VERIFY each year). Refunds normally arrive in the payslip or pension in summer or autumn (TO VERIFY).
